You can now make any single line question required 🎉
This is a continuation of the recent new feature allowing contact fields to be required. Head to Screeners >> Questions and open up any single line question. You'll now see a required toggle.
Don't forget you can also edit every word in the required alerts by clicking Edit Alert Language on the right:
Paying participants outside of Ethnio? Now you can track and record all of your external payments into Ethnio. This can be super helpful with managing limits for participants, filtering in Pool, and building your participant database records. Track payment in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Verify your recipients Step 2: Amounts & Currencies everyone was paid Step 3: Confirm and add these records into Ethnio for tracking and recording
Do you work on compensation guidelines or plan out how much you'll pay participants for different types of research? If so, we've got a brand new robot that can help save you a ton of time, especially if you pay participants in multiple countries and currencies. Give it a try and tell a researcher!
Do you use checkboxes in your qualifying questions to rule out people based on certain fixed criteria? Now you can specify a disqualified answer, meaning no matter what else your respondents select, they will be disqualified if they also include one or more disqualifying answers. This can only work for checkboxes, since it's the only multi-select:
Here's a big little feature to digest as you get back from your 🦃break! You can now make Name, Email, or Phone required questions in your screeners (links, intercepts, mobile, and desktop):
It's a simple feature that's perhaps long overdue, but we've held off for so long to ensure your respondents had the best possible experience. That's why we're only offering contact question types for now. The email validation also checks to see if it's a real email. Especially if you do a lot of scheduling, this can really ensure you get valid contact info for each respondent. Give it a whirl and let us know what you think!
The latest addition to Pool is Engagement! Keep track of how engaged your research participants are across all your studies, or by segment. See a quick Overall Engagement metric at the top of Pool and drill down to see how you're doing on participants opening emails, clicking links, and hopefully not very many bounces. :-)
