We're laying the foundation for upcoming design improvements with some small style updates. If you notice things looking a bit tidier (font, buttons), that's us paying off what the kids call "technical debt." This helps us start down a path towards big UX improvements in 2020 that make a real difference in your day-to-day use of Ethnio.
Additionally, there are some other upgrades:
As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we have made some improvements.
PII will be hidden from the calendar feed to ensure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. As a result, the calendar feed for all active accounts will be reset after Oct 15th, 2019. Please prepare to resubscribe to all calendar feeds after Oct 15th. Read lots more about this update here
Ethnio is currently SOC2 Type 2 compliant through our TierPoint-managed data center, and additionally, we're in the process of SOC 2 Type 1 & Type 2 assessments for the entire org. This helps us ensure your data and your participants’ data is handled using the strictest guidelines.
We are also running multiple due diligent pentests to locate and fix vulnerabilities in the system. These are hacker-powered penetration tests performed by a certified pentester.
This is documented to show the steps we take to detect, contain, and permanently fix any potential threats to your data. Read the full plan.
Two small but cool improvements for this sunny summer Thursday.
#1 3rd Party URL: You can now send qualified respondents to a redirect if you're using the 3rd Party URL feature, but note this can't work with intercepts because that would be super weird. You'll also notice the interface has been much improved 🎉.
#2 Reminders in Feed: All scheduling reminders have their own dedicated state (SMS, Email, and Robocall) which means you'll be able to see reminders in Scheduling Feed and the Pool Member Detail page. You'll be able to filter based on reminders in Pool shortly.
You can now see the latest features and improvements in this handy area, and stay up-to-date on what's going on with Ethnio.
The latest addition to Pool is Engagement! Keep track of how engaged your research participants are across all your studies, or by segment. See a quick Overall Engagement metric at the top of Pool and drill down to see how you're doing on participants opening emails, clicking links, and hopefully not very many bounces. :-)
