New integration alert 🚨Ethnio can now create dynamic Zoom meetings from your Zoom account for any confirmed participant using Scheduling. Please note this requires a Pro or higher plan, and it works for 1:1 interviews, group, and backups. It will let you use Zoom Webinars to hide attendees in your research sessions, if you are a fan of that Zoom research hack. Of course, you'll need to have access to Zoom Webinars to use that part, but read all about it in the help article..
If you need to send automated Data Subject Requests, erasure requests, or opt out requests to Ethnio, there's a new Ethnio Access & Erasure API that supports those automated requests for Enterprise Customers. This is generally part of GDPR compliance, and we're excited to improve the ways you can manage participant data privacy in Ethnio.
You can now make any single line question required 🎉
This is a continuation of the recent new feature allowing contact fields to be required. Head to Screeners >> Questions and open up any single line question. You'll now see a required toggle.
Don't forget you can also edit every word in the required alerts by clicking Edit Alert Language on the right:
Have screener questions with lots of answers that should be in order? Every wish they didn't wrap into multiple columns on your screener links? Thanks to the stellar research team at Sonos, you can now toggle single column for any radio button or checkboxes, including qualifying questions and magic drill downs. This means the end layout of answers with an important order will be much more clear. To turn this on look for the "Use Single Column Layout"
Paying participants outside of Ethnio? Now you can track and record all of your external payments into Ethnio. This can be super helpful with managing limits for participants, filtering in Pool, and building your participant database records. Track payment in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Verify your recipients Step 2: Amounts & Currencies everyone was paid Step 3: Confirm and add these records into Ethnio for tracking and recording
Hope everyone is adjusting and staying safe during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with all of those affected.
Ethnio has been a fully remote company for three years and our supply chain is highly vetted, so there has been zero impact to our infrastructure and no reduction in services. Ethnio was also one of the first remote research tools to exist and we even co-authored the book Remote Research in 2010, so we're doing our best to apply our resources to helping customers and researchers adapt to remote work and research.
We're also rolling out some improvements to make every part of Ethnio accessible and responsive to support even more devices and remote use cases. The first area is the incentives pay flow, which you can now do with assistive devices and smaller devices. We don't advise issuing incentives from your phone, but you could.
