We’ve added three new features to help you automatically detect suspicious participants in studies, clean up duplicates in Pool, and detect fraudulent incentive recipients. Account owners or admins on any plan can now head to account > fraud prevention to enable these:
⚠️ Responses fraud prevention (All plans)
Ethnio can now detect when the same person may be trying to game your study, screener, or survey by using multiple emails to fill it out. Suspicious responses are flagged using signals like IP address tracking, fingerprinting, and shared payout emails, helping stop professional respondents from signing up multiple times.

🧹 Pool Cleanup (Enterprise)
Keep your participant panel healthy with tools to identify duplicate participants or columns, and then merge them. Run a scan and review suggested fixes to maintain a clean, reliable research pool.

🧾 Pool fraud queue (Enterprise)
For incentive programs, Ethnio can automatically flag reward recipients that appear to share the same payment emails, and place them into a fraud review queue in Pool. This adds an extra layer of protection against people that appear to be different participants but use the same payment email for incentives.
Cleaner participant data, safer incentives, and less manual review for research ops teams.
