What's new with Ethnio

We’ve recently become aware of new identity requirements for global virtual Visa cards. Due to increasingly strict international law governing money transfers, as of May 3, 2021, recipients in EUR, GBP, AUD and JPY will be asked to verify their identity before they can activate and use their cards. This may include:

• Date of Birth
• Driver’s License Number (or other identifying document like a Passport, ID Card, etc.)
• Proof of Address (Utility bill, mortgage/rent bill, etc.)

Please be assured this new verification follows strict privacy and security guidelines, and is fully GDPR compliant.
